San Francisco Trip: Part 5 Final Day in San Francisco
We started the day of by BIKING ACROSS THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE!! I was so excited about this! We biked from around Pier 43 over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, then to Tiburon, took the fairy back to Pier 39 then biked back to Pier 43, for a total of around 18+ miles.
About to head over the bridge
Stopping on the bridge to take a picture
San Fran in the background
Looking down…it was so high! I did not see this sign when we were biking across but I was told that out of all the bridges in the world, the Golden Gate Bridge has the most suicides, over 1200! Crazy!! NO thank you, I was scared to even look over the edge!

We made it to Sausalito, such a cute town! Biking up one of the many hills, we saw a deer crossing the street. I was able to get my camera out and snap a few shots before it jumped over the fence.
We made it to Tiburon, but we weren’t quite finished. Charlie was a little exhausted.
The Finish Line, we made it!
After biking it was time for In-N-Out Burger and sight seeing around town.
Lombard Street – the crookedest street
The cables that the cars run on
That night we headed to Chinatown for dinner at House of Nanking and we visited the Fortune Cookie Factory.
In the Westin St. Francis after riding the elevator, to get a good view of Union Square.
We all had a great time in San Francisco! It was such a fun vacation and I would love to go visit again someday. Now to plan Glickerson Summer Vacation #3…where to go, where to go?
