family trip to riviera maya, mexico
Our other trip of the summer was to Riviera Maya, Mexico. Since my family was all in town (Bekah back from college for the summer and Abby back from mission trips) my parents took us to Mexico! It was so nice of them and a perfect way to end the summer.

The resort was all-inclusive – love that! Many fun dinners!
Eating escargot! I like it (don’t mind my face – the texture is what bothers me), Charlie did not like it.
The water was beautiful, so clear!
Riding giant tricycles in the water. I am not with Charlie in this picture because as soon we got on it, he sliced his foot open on the peddle – not good.
Lots of sea life – we did not even need our goggles to see! We also saw a huge barracuda! 
They had water aerobics – so much fun!

We had such a great time and as you can see, I was super sad to leave paradise! But a great end to a great summer! Good luck to everyone heading back to school tomorrow, I hope it is a good start to a great year!

beautiful pictures! Our hotels are a lot alike and we were just a mile away!! We had water aerobics, too. The picture of Charlie doing it cracked us up :) Need to see y'all soon!!
