Mathis Baby Dedication

On September 30, 2012 we participated in baby dedication at our church C Life.  Mathis was about a month and a half old.  It was so special  because Emma, Mathis’ cousin was also dedicated!  It was so sweet and special.  As his parents we committed in front of our family, friends and church family to teach Mathis about Jesus and to seek God’s will as we raise him.  We are so blessed to be his parents and get the opportunity to love him and teach him about Jesus!

Celebrating Our Freedom 2012

Charlie and I were both off for 4th of July this year, so we had our family come over for breakfast and enjoy the neighborhood parade.  We went to the Little Forest Hills 4th of July Parade with The Coats last year and thought it would be fun to go again!

So I looked up the parade route online and saw the cross streets that the parade was starting at, which were the same as last year.  So we decided to go to the end of the street and we would see the parade when it goes by.  Well after walking all around the neighborhood apparently the parade went the opposite direction this year :(.  So we ended up missing the parade and getting in a little workout instead, ha ha.  Sorry guys!  Once we got back to our house it was time for breakfast!

Looking for the parade…

We also got to celebrate with our community group!  It was fun to see our CG since we are on a break for the summer.  The Sweny’s had all of us over to the their house for dinner.

Sawyer was looking precious in her 4th of July outfit!  Casey can’t pull it off as well, ha ha.

Girls Getaway

About a month ago C Life Church just had their 1st ever Women’s Retreat AKA Girls Getaway!  It was so exciting to be a part of the very 1st one!  It was not only fun, but a great weekend of connecting with other women and with God!  I guess we had too much fun because I did not get any pictures of the weekend, I took some pictures of decorations after we finished them, but did not take anymore after that Sad smile.  So here is a little bit of the 1st ever Girls Getaway…

We went to Camp Copass In Denton, TX
