Not the best “After” pictures, these were taken in the fall, I did get any recent pictures when we had flowers out and it looked pretty.

Changing up the master bathroom and closet was our biggest renovation. Before it had his & hers vanity and closets with the bathtub and toilet in the middle of the two. We rearranged things a bit! We completed gutted it out…
BEFORE
We turned the right side into the bathroom and the left side the closet. We kept the vanities just painted them and added feet to make them taller. We put in marble countertops, new fixtures, mirrors, recess lighting, tile, tank less water heater, etc. I love the shower! It was so big and it had a bench, which was perfect for shaving your legs! Beside the shower we put a wall and put the toilet on the other side of that. Charlie’s brother Andy built the closet for us, I love it!
AFTER
That was Charlie’s idea to put the shelves next to the shower!

All we did to this room was paint, carpet, ceiling fan, and blinds! I would have loved to be more creative with the space since it was my craft room, but oh well, there is always the next house right!?!
This is usually what this room really looked like most of the time! ha ha. Always a project to work on!
New paint..carpet…window…blinds…fan…etc.! There used to be a window where the dresser is. As much as a I hate to remove windows, it was just awkward! It was a window to the front porch, so that was removed!
The only thing we left in this bathroom was the green tile. We actually had this exact same tile in our last house!
I loved this bathroom! It was right next to the game room.
We completely gutted the shower and put in all new tile and fixtures. New tile on the floor (once again wish I would have done dark grout instead of white). We kept the cabinets just added feet on the bottom to make them taller, painted them, added knobs, marble countertop, new sink and fixtures!
For us this was not so much a game room – more like the extra room/storage room. With a 4 bed/3 bath house and only 2 people living in it we did not have enough stuff to fill every room. So this is that room. Unfortunately I never got around to decorating this room. We had our ping pong table in the room and that was about it.
At one point we were living out of this room, as we were living among the chaos of fixing up the house.
I think the laundry room is my favorite place in a house. They are clean, tidy, and organized…I love them! This laundry room also included the pantry which was a little different but it worked.
BEFORE
Love this clock from Ikea! Same cabinets just painted black and added knobs. The shelf is also from Ikea.
This area is across from the washer and dryer. It was the perfect little cubby area for hanging clothes to dry and for Madison’s food and water. To the left of this area is the pantry (not pictured).
The Dining Room Before
The Dining Room After
The biggest change to the dining room were the windows. We took out the small window and put in a larger one and we also closed in the window that was along the wall by the front door. We kept the same chandelier just spray painted it black and added shades.
As far as the furniture…the dining room table was given to us for free! I love it because it has two more leaves so it can seat a lot of people. And we of course painted it black and I recovered the seat cushions (a while back). I have been meaning to re-cover the seat cushions, but I have not gotten around to it (in the last 2 years). The black piece of furniture was my grandparents, once again we painted it and added knobs. I love it because it used to hold their record player and it is perfect for that! Only it holds our ihome, works for us! The mirror is from Canton (was gold, now black). The curtains are from Ikea. The rug is from Pier 1. I believe that I have blogged about my little serving cart before, but it also was from Canton and it got a little makeover.
So that is our dining room! We have enjoyed many special meals as this table!
