Baylor Homecoming 2012

Mathis and I went on a little road trip this fall to hang out with Karol Anne and Annemarie!  Mathis was 3 months old and he was such a good baby on our road trip!  We left Dallas and headed to Brownwood to meet Karol Anne and Annemarie to stay at the Glasson’s.  We stayed at Jason’s parents house that night and it was so nice to visit with his sweet mom!

The next day we headed to Waco for Baylor’s Homecoming.  We strolled around campus when we got there.  Wow, how things have changed -   from dorm neighbors in 2006 to Alumni with kids in 2012!  Can’t wait for all the fun in the future!

It was such a fun weekend with my sweet friend KA!  I can’t wait for all the many Baylor memories ahead!

BU Homecoming 2010

This year I went back to Baylor’s Homecoming.  It was my first time to go as an alumni!  I had not been back since I graduated in 2006.  It was so fun to go back especially since I got to hang out with my “BFFE/Best Roommate Ever” Karol Anne.

Our first Homecoming event of the weekend was to go see Pigskin Revue.  It was a lot of fun to watch and of course all the performances were awesome.

The next morning we got up (obviously without putting make-up on) and went to the Homecoming Parade.

Then we went back to the hotel, got ready for the day and headed to Food for Thought to get some lunch, yummy!

After lunch we went to the Baylor Bookstore and got Baylor shirts to wear to the football game then headed to the game!  When we got near the stadium it started to pour down rain!  We found a parking spot and by that time is was only drizzling so we decided to head into the stadium.  Of course we were showing about about 30 minutes late to the game.  But due to the weather the game had been delayed 10 minutes into the game.  So we found a seat and the game started back up.

It started to rain again and we stuck it out!  We were so proud of ourselves we stayed for the entire game!  I never did that when I was going to Baylor, ha ha.  It was an exciting game!

I had a great time experiencing all the Baylor Homecoming festivities as an alumni and I hope it won’t be another four year before I am back again!
