A couple months ago we had a shower for Lauren and Sawyer Grace Coats. The shower was hosted by some of the girls from our Pokeno group and was at our house in Rockwall. It was such a sweet time to celebrate Sawyer & Lauren.

Just less than a month later Miss Sawyer Grace arrived! She is just adorable – see for yourself – Lauren let me come over and take some pictures of Sawyer. She was such a good baby model!

We got to spend lots of time with family this year, we had 6 Christmas’. Christmas #1 was with Charlie’s extended family (The Thomas’ – his mom’s side of the family). Unfortunately I did not take any pictures :(. Charlie’s mom has 4 other siblings so this was a pretty big gathering. It was nice to see and visit with family that lives close but we don’t get to see that often.
Christmas #2 was spent with my dad’s side of the family. We went to my aunts house. It was a lot of fun to watch the kids open their presents! I did not take enough pictures.

In between family time…Thursday after the Christmas Eve (eve) service at C Life we looked at Christmas lights with Lauren and Casey. We went to the Starbucks in Highland Park Village then around Highland Park to look at lights.

Christmas #3 was on Christmas Eve with Charlie’s immediate family (plus some close friends) at his parents house. This is the whole gang!

After we left Charlie’s parents house we went to my parents house to open pj’s – a Barnett tradition. After opening our pj’s we played a little “Just Dance” on Wii. It was so much fun and a pretty good work out!
The 4th Christmas was at our house Christmas morning. It was just the two of us and it was very sweet. We just did stockings for each other this year and it was perfect!

My mom started this tradition of passing on this creepy snowman every year. Charlie and I are passing it onto Bekah this year.
My mom and I got each other almost the exact same gift, it was hilarious. But we both really needed a new beverage container, we have been sharing one for years!

Then it was off to Aunt Pam’s again for Christmas #6. We had a yummy lunch and enjoyed time with family and friends.
