Monday
- Work
Well of course everyday starts with work! Which I don’t really talk about much on here, but I love my job! So rewarding to take care of kids and there families and I have great friends I work with!
Here I am at work…The picture on the left was taken by one my patient’s moms (had to blur his face for HIPPA purposes) and the picture on the right is from our brochure, ha ha.
- Work out
I ran for about 20 minutes (really proud of that!) around my neighborhood. I really liked running around the neighborhood, since I am new it was like exploring. So it was not boring like running on a track or treadmill (I don’t last long on those). Then I went to 24 Hour Fitness and did the 24 hour lift class. I love this class! The instructor is great! I know I get a great workout when I can’t straighten my arms the next day and it hurts to sit, ha ha. But seriously I love this class.
- Try a new recipe
Then I made a yummy new meal: Mexican Pot Pie. It was so easy and good! I found it at http://wearinggackeysapron.blogspot.com. She has some great recipes!
Tuesday
- Laundry

- Caught up on my TV show…The Bachelor
- Saw cool ring around the moon!!
I don’t really know what night I saw this the first time (I have seen it a few times). I tried to take a picture, but I could not get it with my camera. Here is a picture I found here.
What is it???….It is caused by a refraction of Moonlight from ice crystals in the upper atmosphere. The shape of the ice crystals results in a focusing of the light into a ring. Info found here. It was pretty cool to see!
- Met Mischika at JoAnn’s for fabric
I could spend hours in JoAnn’s or anywhere looking for fabric. I am going to be making headbands for Mischika’s neice Leah’s wedding. It is going to be fabulous!! She is so cute and funky, I can’t wait for their wedding!

- Made headbands
I had a few orders for headbands this week, so I worked on finishing those up. I love making headbands of course, but it is also fun to meet new sweet friends! Here are some I made this week…
Wednesday
- Haircut
I got a new do. It is very edgy and funky for me! I wish I had a picture to post, but I don’t.
- Hung out with Charlie and watched TV. Love those nights!
Thursday
- Drug rep dinner at the Palm Restaurant.
- Enjoyed all the rain and crazy weather.
- Worked on planning our summer vacation to San Francisco, yay!! Got any suggestions for this trip?? Please let me know.
Friday
- Charlie started delivering pizza’s for Papa Johns.
Since our house is completely finished, Charlie has been a little bored. So he got the idea that he would start delivery pizza to make extra money and give him something to do. ha ha. He did pretty well, he made $150 working a few hours Friday night. His is so sweet, cute, and such a hard worker, I could not ask for a better husband. I did crack up laughing when he walked into the room in this, ha ha…He let me take a goofy photo shoot of him, ha ha. Don’t worry I told him I was going to put these pictures up and he did not protest.
- So I shopped! Made a trip to TJ Maxx (cute stuff right now!), Target, and Hobby Lobby.
Saturday
- Canton
Woke up bright and early and went to Canton with my mom, Melody, Renee, and Tricia. We bundled up and headed out! It was so much fun and we found some cute stuff! It was great because a lot of people were having sales and no one was there (bc it was freezing!!).
- Leah’s Wedding Shower
Then I headed to Murphy, TX for Leah’s wedding shower. Little side note: I loved the drive from Rockwall to Murphy – found a cute BBQ place (Big Daddy’s) that I want to try and I finally found the cute little winery right on Hwy 205 that I want to go to when it warms up! Anyways Leah’s shower was so sweet and fun, she has great family and friends. Mischika had me make a flower corsage for Leah to wear…
- Met up with my mom, Melody, and Renee at TJ Maxx to work on decorating Renee’s house. We had a lot of fun together!
- Dinner at Pancho & Lefty’s in Heath with mom and Melody. It was fun and they had live music!
Sunday
- Well here I am catching up on my blog.
Still to do today…
- Headbands
- Decorate my house for V-day
- Work on setting up a website or site on etsy…please suggestions are needed?!?!?! I am not sure if it would be better to have a separate website for my headbands or if I should just get an account on etsy?
- Make cookies for First Monday….hope you can come! Monday Feb 1st, C Life Church in Forney, 6:45 pm.
- Church
- Decorate Church for Disciple Now next weekend!!

I get so filled with meetings/dinners and weddings/parties I hardly have time for all the fun stuff you do!! I'm sure when we move though I will have more free time for a while, so I'll look forward to that.
Just wanted to say that I too love the LIFT class!! Have you ever done a shift'n'lift? its amazing-cycle+lift-such greatness! I also love SET class-that one is good too-big time calorie burn=)
anyway, can't wait to see you again-sorry I couldn't come to first monday-i have choirs on monday night =-(
I was thinking about you the other day! We need to do dinner soon or maybe a Saturday brunch! I am loving your headers!! Also, Clay wants to deliver pizzas now! Haha! Miss ya!
