We spent the first night at their house and the next day we headed to Gulf Shores, which was only about an hour and a-half away. This was the start of our 1st Annual Glickerson Summer Vacation! **WARNING** This is picture overload!
The view from our room!
KA and I were all about relaxing, the boys not so much! So this is what KA and I did...lay out, read, and lay out more! The boys boogie-boarded in the ocean and spent a lot of time throwing the tennis ball in the pool. It was so cute, a lot of the kids that were in the pool wanted to play with them, ha ha.

The Boys
We spent a lot of time reading. I finally read the book Wicked, it was so interesting and good, I really got into it!

There is so much more to this picture than what you would think! All we needed to do was blow up this tube. So we headed to the gas station, thinking that we could blow it up with the air machine. It was taking forever, not really getting much air in. We kept adding quarters and trying to get the thing aired up. Being in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart we thought it might be a good idea to just go in and buy a pump. But no, the boys kept trying to air it up with the air machine. $5 or $6 later in quarters, we decided to head to Wal-Mart and just get a pump! We ended up getting a $10 pump, that took about 1 minute to air up the entire tube! The funniest part, was when we got in the car to leave, Karol Anne got out the tube directions and it specifically says not to air up with tube with an air machine, ha ha. It was not so funny then, but we can laugh about it now!
We made it to the water!
Charlie getting ready to wake board!

Taking a lunch break on a sand bar, the water was so pretty! White sand and clear water.
Eating my lunch on the beach
Nap time for Charlie
We would hang out at The Beach Club all day, eating breakfast and lunch in our condo, and at night we would go out to dinner. We went to Lulu's, it is Jimmy Buffet's sisters restaurant, it was so cute and the food was great!

We played putt-putt & rode go-carts!
