History of the apron: they were traditionally viewed as a necessity when doing housework. Aprons became less common in the mid 1960's when cheaper clothes and washing machines came around. The Wall Street Journal claims nowadays, the apron is "enjoying a renaissance as a retro-chic fashion accessory." It is a way to really express your personality. Here are a few of my favorites...
