Weekend Update

We had a fun-filled weekend that once again went by too fast!

Friday...

Friday night we went to my sisters Volleyball game in Mabank. It was the longest game ever, but they won! The whole family went including my grandmother! I am very excited, she is staying with my parents for a little while, it is fun to have her here. She is from Pittsburgh, TX, but likes to come stay here some. My grandpa is still in Pittsburgh he can't stand to be in the city for too long. So we all went to the volleyball game and had dinner at Crandell's Cotton Gin.

Saturday...

We celebrated Jennifer's 22nd birthday at Charlie's parents house. His mom made the best homemade pizza, yum! We had lunch, hungout, opened presents and had the traditional brownie - ice cream birthday cake. It was fun!

Then we headed to the State Fair. It was the last weekend and we had not been. It was pretty crowded since it was the last weekend. Bit it was perfect weather for being outside!



We left the fair earlier than planned and since is was so nice outiside we drove down Swiss Ave on our way home to look at the pretty houses....(we'll take either)




We met up with Lauren and Casey to have dinner and watch the UTgame/browse for houses on the internet. I know Casey we are lame! ha ha. We had a lot of fun hanging out at their cute apartment!


Sunday...

We went to church and came home to be lazy. I made this yummy apple cake...

It is the perfect fall desert!
