Light the Night

If you have never done this it is a great opportunity to increase awareness and help find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. The Light the Night for Leukemia walk is a nationwide walk that the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society puts on. Working with many kids and families battling cancer encourages me even more to provide donations to this great fundraiser. So here is the walk that I have registered for:

Dr. Pepper Ballpark

Frisco, Texas

November 1, 2008

It is a great way to support these wonderful patients and families!

*Every five minutes, someone in this country is diagnosed with blood cancer: Every ten minutes, someone loses the fight.
*Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children.
*Lymphomas are the most common blood cancers.
*The myeloma survival rate is only 32 percent.
