Butterflies...

Long time no blog! Our computer has a virus and has been out of service. We have been able to check our email, but that has taken up to 30 minutes with how slow it is runny and all the pop ups! So we have ordered a new computer from Dell. I am excited Charlie said that it should be really fast! (thats what he said, ha ha, sorry!) Anyways it is a scratch and dent item, so we'll see...I am always a little sceptical and Charlie is really excited about the price. So all that to say that I have not been able to get on and blog about our lives. Although right now the computer is working fine, hense the new background!

About the butterflies...this weekend my mom, sister, and I went to Southlake Town Square after church. We had lunch at 5 Guys Burgers and Fries (yummy!), shopped, and went to the butterfly exhibit. It was a lot of fun! Although I was totally freaked out when they would land on me! You walk into the tint (after paying $6), they hand you a stick with a cube of watermelon on the end with a butterfly on it. There are hundreds of Texas butterflies in the tent, some on plants, some on the tent, some flying, and several on people! It kinda grossed me out...they are still bugs! But it was a lot of fun. They are going to have another Butterfly Exhibit at Discovery Gardens in Fair Park during the Texas State Fair and admission for the exhibit will be $3, you should check it out!

Charlie did not want to join us for the butterflies and shopping, so he hung out at his parents house and watched the Cowboy game! Then we went to our Community Group! It was a good weekend, but of course went by too fast! Well that is my re-cap of our weekend, and it almost time for next weekend. I will try and keep the blog more up-to-date, computer willing.
Thanks for reading our blog!

"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romas 12:1-2
