We had a great week.... we found a car, yay! We got a 2002 white Nissan Altima (picture to come). We ended up selling the jeep because it was starting to have the same problems that my last jeep had, which ended up costing a lot of money. So we found this Altima and we really like it!
I am really enjoying my new job at Texas Oncology! I am learning so much! I really get to see the big picture - knowing patients treatment plans (which can span over 3 years) and not just giving them chemo for a week and then I don't see them again for a month. I am seeing most of these patients every week. I really admire some of these families who have to come so much, they have such great attitudes! And I am carpooling with the other nurse that I work with - Amanda!! We get to take the HOV lane to work so instead of it taking 30-45 minutes it takes us 15! Although the HOV lane can be pretty scary, because if you can't make it into the lane in time, you have to go over these huge bumps with plastic poles sticking up, which Amanda has done, it was pretty funny/scary, ha ha. So I am loving the job!
Charlie has started with football! He has to help with North Mesquite H.S. 2-a-days and they started issuing equipment to the middle schoolers on Saturday mornings (he is not too excited about that, ha ha). And then school starts the 25th!
So that is what has been going on with us! Also congratulations to Natalie and Clay who are expecting a little Lola or Cash, yay!! We are so happy for you guys!
