As you can see Mathis gave me a couple seconds to snap his picture then he was on the go! He is improving his crawling skills and actually trying to use his knees to crawl although sometimes he thinks he’s faster if he just drags himself with his arms. He is pulling up on everything and making his way around around rooms as long as he can hold on.
At Costco with Dad while Mom is at work. This is currently his favorite toy – The Straw! ha ha
He likes driving the car at DeeDee and G-Bob’s house. We still have to leave the footboard in the bottom because he has slipped through a couple times. Emma loves pushing Mathis around in the car.
Now that he is pulling up he is into everything! And this is one of his favorite things to do – pull all the DVD's off the shelf. We usually just leave them their until the end of the day then put them away once he has gone to bed. It is a vicious cycle everyday! ha ha
This sweet boy loves his thumb! He never really wanted to suck a pacifier but has taken to his thumb to soothe himself. For a while he would have all his fingers sticking straight up while his thumb was in his mouth, now he has been bending them down. He’s got his technique down and I don’t think he’s giving it up anytime soon

I left my sweet boys to be a counselor at WyldLife Camp for a week. I missed both of them so much, but it was such a rewarding week to be challenged in my walk with Christ and encourage some middle school girls. My parents, The Mentzer’s and Charlie all did a great job taking care of Mathis while I was gone – and it looks like he was just fine! ha ha. When we arrived back at the church from camp, I was still on the bus but I could see Mathis from inside the bus. He didn’t really know what was going on but once he saw me come off the bus he just started bawling – it made me cry and was such a sweet moment. He just laid his head on my shoulder once I got him in my arms. He missed his Momma!
At the pediatrician with Dad, he loves his Daddy! But is still a Momma’s Boy!
With his girlfriend Collins! And he loves spending time with Myers! Chick-fil-A and Myers = two of his favorite things! And Myers is so good with him!
After I got back from WL Camp we went to Sanibel Island with my side of the family. This was Mathis’ first plane ride and trip to the beach!
He loved spending time with his cousin Emma! They loved waking up to see each other everyday!
They had their matching swimsuits and were ready for the beach! Sweet babies holding hands in the carrier as we rode bikes.
As you can see this happy boy loved the beach!
