Just as I was planning to get back into blogging the charger on our new computer broke, so we were computer-less for a couple weeks. So without further adieu here is my 1st post in too long…
So thanks to the Facebook timeline and some pictures on my phone I can easily do a little catching up on our lives with some pictures!
August 2011
Unfortunately, the end of August was sad for us. Almost 8 weeks after finding out that I was pregnant I had a miscarriage. It was difficult to go through and I was so surprised to hear how many people I knew that had/were having miscarriages. We trusted that God had a plan and that his timing was perfect.
September 2011
3rd Annual Glickerson Summer Vacation – Girls Gone Wild Edition. I went to visit Karol Anne & Annemarie in Beaumont. It was perfect and some much needed girl time with my BFFE and her sweet 3 month old!
Abby Moves to Georgia. My sister moved to Georgia to work for a new mission group that was starting up. I am so proud of her!
My cousin David and his wife Stephanie live in Georgia with their three kids – so we got to visit them!

Moved out of the rent house and moved into our new house in Little Forest Hills. These pictures are a couple of before pictures. We spent several months fixing up this house – more on this to come!
We did the annual Turkey Trot with my family. And since Charlie had to work Thanksgiving day, we went to visit him at the station.
My sister Bekah married Bradley and I gained a Brother-in-law! She was a beautiful bride – so proud of her!
We found out that I was pregnant!

Kids Beach Club started at McKenzie Elementary in Mesquite. This after school organization was sponsored by C Life Church. It was such a blessing to be a part of every week! We had 80-100 kids every week (for 6 weeks) and several kids accept Christ!
Natalie’s Baby Shower for Mr. Oliver. The gender was a surprise until he was born – so we did not know “he” was a “he” at the shower :)
Gender Reveal Party! We found out we were having a BOY!

We went to Beaumont to celebrate Annemarie’s 1st birthday! We had such a good time hanging out with Jason, Karol Anne, & AM – she is getting so big! The Glickersons (Glasson + Rickerson) are growing!
Okay – I think that catches us up a little. I am sure I left out a lot – but this is what I have pictures of – so hopefully I caught most of it!

Great catchup! Thanks for sharing;) Its so easy to get behind on blogging! But feels so good once you do;)
Anyway, so sorry to hear about your m/c, however, you are the 3rd person I know (including me) that had one and ab 3 months later was pregnant again! how weird is that? God is good!!! Beauty from ashes....PTL 2012 babies;) Congrats again, cannot wait to see Mr. Mathis!! :)
