This summer Charlie’s brother Andy got married! I love his wife Jennifer, she is a keeper!
Jennifer’s Bridal Shower
The festivities kicked off with a shower at my house hosted by me, my mom, and Sally (Charlie’s sister). It was a very quaint and sweet shower!
Me and Jennifer at the showerIt is pretty funny because we have a few things in common: we both grew up in Mesquite, both graduated from Poteet High School, we are both nurses (or going to be, Jennifer will graduate from UT’s nursing school in May), and we both of course have good taste in men, ha ha!
Jennifer and her mom I promise I had other pictures from the shower, but with all the camera and computer confusion over the past few months, who knows where they are. Probably still on one of the three cameras that I was using at the time.
Couples Shower
We also went to Andy and Jennifer’s shower. Craig and Tammy Cooper had a great couples shower for them! It was a lot of fun!

Yummy! All home made desserts!
The Groom
Opening gifts…the wreath I made for their front door. Testing the wreath out on my front door, I wanted it after I made it, ha ha.
Then it was time to go outside and play with bubbles, ha ha.
Bridal Portraits
I was so excited to be a part of Jennifer’s bridal portraits! I actually ended up doing her hair and make-up! It was so much fun to spend time with her on this special day!

Really pretty door in their house, perfect for showing off the necklace down her back.Love this picture!
The Crew
Jennifer took some pictures at a Dallas Fire Station, since Andy is a Dallas Firefighter. Really cute pics!
The Bachelorette Party
Jennifer’s Bachelorette party was so fun! We met at her aunt’s house, then took a stretch hummer to Primo’s for dinner. We had the limo all night so we headed to Pete’s Piano bar, did some dancing, truth or dare, then back to her aunt’s for lingerie shower and slumber party! I did not get any pictures of the Bachelorette party because I forgot my camera, but here are a few from Jennifer.

Their wedding was Sunday August 1, 2010 at the Old Red Brick Courthouse in Downtown Dallas. It was a neat place to have a wedding and reception! It was such a sweet ceremony.

p.s. I love the point you made about our good taste in men.. so true. But even more obvious is our husbands' great taste in women!! =)
Such a beautiful post about the wedding. It's nice to look in on the happy times of other people's lives. I pray that their marriage is truly a success from beginning to end (what God has yoked together let no man put apart Matthew 19:6).
Also I love the spirit I see in you and the love of family. A nice example for everyone who visits you blog.
