Happy Fall

I am so excited that Fall is here!  I love the transition from the crazy heat to the perfect weather where you can leave your windows open (unless you have seasonal allergies!).  It is beginning to look more like fall around our house now that I have some decorations up!

Our front door wreath…I made this with Mischika when she had me over last week for craft night!  So fun! My little pumpkin with candy in it.  I don’t like candy corn (yuck) so I found these candy corn Hershey kisses and put those in there.  I thought that just the wrapper looked like a candy corn, but no, it tastes like crushed up candy corn and white chocolate Hershey kisses – they are disgusting and the texture is weird!  So I will be staying away from those!

Side note: regarding the candy corn – I don’t think that I like it because my Memaw used to always (if I remember correctly year-round) have it at her house in her old medicine bottles, ha ha.Moving on…decorations around the tv.  I usually don’t have this area decorated and I really like something up there!  After Fall and Christmas decorations, I am going to have to find some decorations for this space. My glittery spooky sign on my dining room table …if I have a chance I want to get some black birds to sit around this sign.I could not resist this leaf candy holder with the little bird on it.  It was on sale for $2 at the Sample House.  Of course with more disgusting candy in it, ha ha, at least they are cute!Gotta have my sign!  And my mom got me these cute fall magnets from Canton! I think this pumpkin was my first Fall decoration.  I bought it when were living in our apartment.  It is Hobby Lobby circa 2006 – vintage!  ha ha. Well I hope that everyone is have a wonderful 1st week of Fall and enjoying this great weather!!
