Eco-Friendly Chair

I got the Design Within Reach catalog this week and wanted to share the cool story behind this chair.  This is the 111 Navy Chair designed by Emeco.  The cool thing about this chair is that it is made from 111 recycled plastic coke bottles.  Being a fan of Diet Coke I thought this was pretty cool!  They are expecting to keep three million plastic Coke bottles out of landfills each year with the production of this chair!  If you have never checked out Design Within Reach (www.dwr.com) they have some pretty cool stuff.  Okay well before I type the word “cool” again I am going to wrap up this post.  Happy Wednesday and cheers to this eco-friendly chair!
