The Rickerson's: DNow 2010

This weekend is C Life’s Disciple Now. I am so excited for all of the kids that are there, everyone has worked so hard I know it will be a good weekend! Charlie is a leader for 7th and 8th grade boys this weekend. And he brought one of his students from his school, so that is exciting! Bekah is also a leader and my dad is helping as well, it is a family affair! Along with my mom and Melody we were in charge of decorating the stage this year and making the house signs. The theme was “Intoxicating”, it was pretty challenging to come up with decorations for that, ha ha. The t-shirts had an emo/80’s look to them, so we went with that. We did big Polaroid's across the stage and the house signs were Polaroid's. We kept it simple this year, that is how we like it!

We got these images blown up into posters. Not knowing any better I tried FedEx well that was probably the most expensive place I could have gone. I got one poster made (for about $56 and I would get it in 48 hours). Realizing that I made a mistake, I immediately called Casey, because I knew we were not going to be able to get all of the posters made if they were going to cost $56 per poster. And he found a great company! It is called Precision Reprographics and the guy you want to talk to is Shane. I emailed him the images Saturday morning and he delivered them to my house by 1pm that afternoon and they looked great! The best part was they were only $20 per poster!!!
