Some of you might recognize this familiar nickname of mine. When I was in high school I was in a theater costume design class also known as “The Sewing Team.” I think we even had t-shirts made! ha ha. We would make the costumes for different plays that were going on at the school. Everyone would make fun of me because I would bring my Bernina sewing machine to school so that we could make the costumes. And that is how I got the nickname “Queen Bernina.” Although now that I think about it, I don’t know how else we would have made them if we did not have the sewing machine! It is my mom’s sewing machine that I have been stealing from her since I was in high school. The Taste of Christmas at church inspired me to break out the Bernina or at least a needle and thread and make some headbands. So I am selling headbands, clips, and cute rubber bands now! Taste of Christmas was last night and I loved every bit of it. I love being creative and I could just make them for hours. I would love to make one for you or if you need a good Christmas gift for someone, just let me know. Enjoy!

I have leather headbands, thin metal headbands, ribbon bands, velvet bands, etc. All of the designs have elastic on the back so they can be removed from the headband and you can slide it onto another headband that you have. That is my favorite part about them – I have to give props to my hairdresser Jennifer Guthrie, she gave me that idea.

These are clipped onto these headbands, they also look really cute just clipped into your hair.
Sorry for the headband overload, I just love them all. Thanks to everyone who bought headbands last night, I really appreciate it!! And thanks to my wonderful sister Abby for helping me at my booth, love you!
Love, Queen Bernina
