This past weekend I participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Dallas. I was proud to be a part of the team Laidley’s Ladies. Dr. Laidley is a breast surgeon at Medical City and this was her team. This was the largest team this year at the race! It consists of medical staff, families, and patients. Dr. Laidley will pay for any of her patients who want to participate in the race. This team raised the most money…$29,504!! Eryn (a nurse that I work with) and I walked the 5K. The weather was so nice and we had a lot of fun!
I believe that Laidley’s Ladies also won the t-shirt contest, but I did not hear the final result
