We had a hard time picking the type of fence that we wanted for this house. Actually I take that back, Charlie did not have a hard time choosing, he wanted the cheapest 6 foot fence that he could get. I wanted a 4 foot fence so that you could still see the view of the lake and I wanted it to be rod iron. But that was not in the budget, so we did a 4 foot wooden fence, good compromise! Charlie worked for two to three days putting up this fence. He goes to Home Depot and asks for a 4 foot wooden fence and they load up the panels in the truck. Charlie gets them home and then realizes that they are 6 feet tall! He takes them back and they inform him that they don’t even sell 4 foot tall panels. So we end up buying the panels from a local fence company. He puts all of the panels up, then he doesn’t like it. Our backyard goes up hill and they did not flow at an even height up the hill, so….We took off each individual panel and put them up again, to make it as even as possible. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it.
My Handsome Handyman!
This was my job…Remove each piece of wood off the panel and take off the nails. I was a pro! Although I did take some pretty long water breaks, ha ha.
Look at that technique!
Finishing touches
Since we finished the fence we brought Madison back to the house. She stayed with Charlie’s parents since we moved into the house. Thank you so much for keeping her! We really appreciate it, and we can tell she had a good time!
On her way to her new house!
Hope everyone has a good Labor day weekend!!
