Sisterly LOVE...

As I am sure everyone that is reading our blog knows, I have too younger sisters. Abby is 22 and Bekah is 17 (wow, can't believe that). They are the best sisters I could ask for. I have noticed growing up as the oldest sibling how much I actually look up to my little sisters! Abby is starting a journey in 11 days, that I don't know if I could even do! But God has given her a mission that requires her to travel all over the world, over 11 months...without coming home :(! She is going on "The World Race." She will visit 11 different countries (Philipines, China, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, India, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia, Mexico, Gautemala and Nicaragua) over 11 months. It has already been an adventure for her from raising money to preparing herself to leave her home. She will be abandoning everything she knows, everything that is comfortable to serve the Lord and to serve others. So if you are reading this I ask for you to pray for. You can read more about her adventure and even keep up with her when she is on her trip, her blog is http://www.abbybarnett.theworldrace.org/. She would really appreciate any comments or encouragement, but most of all to know that you are praying for her and her team. I know she is going to experience so many great things, I am so excited for her. She is a wonderful role model and I am lucky to be her big sister. Love you!
"But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, "How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!"

Man, our moms put those huge homemade bows on our heads, right on top, and we always seem to have homemade shirts... are we going to do this to our kids??? I have a feeling we will... yes, we will. LOL!
